Where? Kamfest Festival, Kamnik (stage “Pr ‘Goslač”)

21:30 – Duo Mann & Juula (EST)

Maria Mänd (EST) – violin

Juuli Kõrre (EST) – violin

The friendship between Estonian violinists Mario Mänd and Juuli Kõrre began in kindergarten. However, the duo was formed only recently when both girls landed in traditional music. Since then, they have given many concerts and received the award for the best young folk group in Estonia. They are dedicated to playing the tunes from the greatest Estonian violinists, to which they inspire new freshness. On the other hand, the folk music also inspired them to write their own tunes, which represent a darker contrast to the traditional ones. The duo offers a journey through Estonian music to dancers as well as intimate listeners.

Around 22:15 follows Fidde Gang Jam – an audiophile exhibition of musical journeys that will take you into the world of Serbian, Romanian, transatlantic and Swedish melodies. It is performed by a 10-member ensemble of participants in the “Balkan Fiddle Gate” workshops, which run in parallel with Kamfest in the Mekinje Monastery.
