Propertea is etno-folk music group, composed of six violins, two guitars, cello and double bass, they furthermore enrich their sound with group and solo vocals. Band in its current form exists since September of 2019 as part of Kulturno društvo Stična, before that they were part of Glasbena šola Grosuplje and led by Polona Udovič as music group Gross Upi, which was founded in 2008 and performed on various local stages, in Cankar Hall, as part of ESTA congress, etc.

Propertea’s repertoire includes traditional music and compositions from South America, the Balkans, Ireland, Scotland and other countries, they also play their own compositions. They are also commited to performing Slovenian traditional music, which is refreshed by their original and inovative arrangements. Their performance and arrangements are influenced by great names of Slovenian folk music scene such as Matija Solce, Bojan Cvetrežnik and others. Their concert activities are mostly based on organising their own concerts in music bars and cultural centres around Ljubljana, they also participate on various festivals and events.

 

The event will be followed by the Godalkanje Fiddle Jam session.
