Laurentius RAINER
(singer, teacher, counter-guitar player)

started with receiving vocal training from the age of 8 at the Vienna
Boys’ Choir.
After completing the higher technical school (2002) he graduated at
the Vienna Conservatory in Jazz Singing (2008) and later in Montessori
education (2011) and as mountain hiking guide (2018).

He was soloist in several classical choirs like Wiener Kammerchor and
performed for film, theater and opera (f.e. Dschungel Wien and Neue
Oper Wien).
He taught and played at several international congresses and festivals
(in Spain, Switzerland, Germany, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Croatia,…)
also in cooperation with therapists and the Medical University of
Vienna, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and
numerous international known artists.

Laurentius is a versatile autodidact with a deeper interest for
traditional music, who loves yodeling and polyphonic overtone singing
since about the year 2000.
He’s performing solo and leading various band projects, as well as
giving private lessons, courses and workshops for nearly every level
of skill and age.
